Even though the tour lasted nearly 12 hours, Brent kept the energy high with his humor, great music, and engaging commentary. We covered a lot of ground, but it never felt rushed or overwhelming. “We went on the Mt Rainier Trip. We had Matthew as our guide. My wife and I really enjoyed the trip, Matthew was very knowledgeable about all the plants and animals. We saw parts of the old mountain forest. Matthew was able to bring the Forest to life for us with his expertise and knowledge. “My husband and I joined a van load of international travelers for the trek to Mt. Rainier. The small van made chatting easy and passing the time enjoyable. Nan, our friendly driver, knew THE best places to stop; spots that we would have driven right past if we’d have been driving on our own. We walked over a mountain stream on a log bridge, and were treated to stunning views of the park. She was especially considerate in pointing out which short hikes might be too strenuous for our age and condition. We were shocked at the amount of snow at the peak in May, but were comfortable in T-shirts.…”

However, on the return trip, the driver informed us that there was traffic and suggested we get off and take the ferry on our own. “Our trip was sold as a 10 hour tour on 5/11/25. Our driver Bob was about 12-15 minutes late arriving to pick us up at our hotel. He repeatedly made comments in the first 3-4 hours of our tour not to worry about time saying that we had the entire day however long necessary to ensure we all had a nice time together. That made us feel nice and comfortable as we began the first hours of tour. The ferry ride was smooth, about 30 minutes to cross from Seattle seaport to Bainbridge Island, where-in we resumed the drive to first tour site stop at the Olympic Animal Game Farm.…”
