Nan, our friendly driver, knew THE best places to stop; spots that we would have driven right past if we’d have been driving on our own. We walked over a mountain stream on a log bridge, and were treated to stunning views of the park. She was especially considerate in pointing out which short hikes might be too strenuous for our age and condition. The driver/guide was excellent and made stops along the journey to see waterfalls and deep pools plus stunning mountain vistas. We weren’t thrilled by Leavenworth.
